Job Overview
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:40pm
The Reconditioning Technician I will enhance and maintain customer satisfaction by properly preparing all cold drink equipment for installation and setting up all dispensing equipment. This role assists in all areas of equipment services to maintain a high level of customer service; help the equipment services team achieve its goals.
Duties & Responsibilities


  • Prepare equipment for installation following CCCI set up procedures involving adding decals, sign face and beverage valve rebuild other parts specific to customer request


  • Modify vendor coolers to restore them to their original condition or current company standard by replacing, or repairing damaged parts and plugs, remove old decals and signage, to prepare units for sanding and painting


  • Ensure the highest quality inspections are performed on all equipment and prepared to customer specifications


  • Perform housekeeping to maintain safe, clean, and neat work areas while abiding by the standards set by the CCCI and safety compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and guidelines


  • Follow procedures for maintaining proper accountability of all parts and labor and capturing all data, including equipment attribute changes in a mobile data device and updates CONA, SAP to ensure accurate inventory


  • Performs other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities


  • High School Diploma or equivalency


  • Basic technical, electrical and troubleshooting knowledge and mechanical skills


  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision


  • Individuals must be able to work in various positions such as squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, and standing on a concrete floor


  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.


  • Ability to move objects of 100 lbs or more


  • Excellent planning and organizational skills


  • Desired Soft drink industry knowledge


  • Desired equipment services experience


  • Desired SAP and Hipot knowledge


  • Experience with tools used include a plasma cutter, hand, air tools, hand-held devices


Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED

  • High school diploma or GED
Work Environment

Work environment will vary, includingexposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled
