In this role, the Research Data Associate will primarily support a new prospective cohort study, the New York City Study of Fertility and Environmental Exposures (NYCFREE) relating to the impact that environmental factors have on fertility and reproductive health. The team member may also work on other projects within the division, which include studies related to the NYU Children's Health & Environment Study (NYU CHES) part of the NIH Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program. This position will support a growing program of work and will involve recruitment and retention of participants, data collection, processing and storing of biological samples, record keeping, and other day-to-day research activities. Job Responsibilities: . Conduct telephone and in-person eligibility screening of potential research participants Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have an Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus one year of related experience in a health care, research, or educational environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal skills. Ability to prioritize work, manage time, and meet tight deadlines. Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to operate independently and with good judgment. Proficiency with various software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc. Qualified candidates must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $51,236.16 - $51,236.16 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
