Time Away and Life Solutions Senior Consultant

Are you interested in a dynamic position that provides consultative support for Life and Disability Benefits to the Professional Employer Organization vertical?

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from an Aon office.

What the day will look like

Managing day-to-day client and service activities including the following:

  • Develop strategic initiatives for the client to help them grow their business, streamline their processes and assist with sales support
  • Lead Time Away and Life Solutions RFP process, including RFP development, RFP review, and analysis of results
  • Increase revenue through Sales Pursuits of Time Away and Life Solutions
  • Support implementations for all new clients
  • Assist in developing the future strategic direction of the PEO Vertical
  • Participate in other design team activities including, but not limited to:
    • Coordination between Structured Portfolio Solutions and other Time Away and Life Solutions areas
    • Carrier relationship activities
    • Development and review of all Time Away and Life Solutions related employee communications and benefit highlight sheets
    • Innovation and product development

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Previous experience building vendor relationships, especially with Time Away, Life, and Disability national carriers
  • Self-motivator with a high level of analytical thinking and the ability to make decisions based on sound business logic
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to independently own projects
  • Strong organization skills and ability to managed detailed analyses
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Health, Life and Variable Annuities License preferred
  • Experience with Professional Employer Organizations a plus


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of consulting or relevant Corporate Benefits experience or 5+ years of carrier life and disability experience, preferably with an account management background

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $96,500.00 to $125,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Berkeley Heights, NJ. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
