Safety Manager

Are you a proven safety leader with a passion for building a strong safety culture? Staffmark is hiring a Safety Manager on behalf of a well-established, rapidly growing company in the fiber optics and utilities industry. This is your opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end safety programs and make a direct impact on the health and safety of field and facility operations across multiple sites.

Salary: $140,000/year (Direct Hire)

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Lead company-wide EHS initiatives, ensuring alignment with OSHA standards and company objectives
• Conduct engaging safety training and toolbox talks across field teams and facility staff
• Oversee incident investigations, trend analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
• Manage regulatory reporting, safety audits, and workers' compensation coordination
• Perform routine inspections at job sites and facilities to proactively identify hazards
• Maintain safety documentation and compliance tracking systems
• Represent the company's safety interests during client pre-bid meetings and develop detailed Health and Safety Plans (HASPs)

What We're Looking For:

• 7-10 years of experience in EHS, OSHA compliance, or safety management
• Background in fiber optics, utilities, or telecom preferred
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, training delivery, and best practices
• Excellent communicator with strong leadership and incident root cause analysis skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety tracking/reporting systems
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
