Inventory Control Clerk

Staffmark is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk in Leesburg, AL! Join a leading automotive manufacturer and play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory of inter-company and supplier parts. If you're detail-oriented and ready to grow your skills, this is the opportunity for you!

Pay Rate: $17.14/hr

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends required

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts for inventory accuracy
• Track and enter inventory data using Excel and company systems
• Place part orders and maintain optimal stock levels
• Manage shipping/receiving documents and truck schedules
• Ensure accurate labeling, FIFO rotation, and Honda Portal entries
• Investigate and address inventory discrepancies and labeling issues
• Assist with audits, physical inventory, and RFID container tracking
• Cross-train across related functions and provide shipping coverage when needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to obtain/maintain forklift certification (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
• Team-oriented with solid communication and problem-solving skills
• Sit, stand, walk, and use hands regularly
• Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
• Work may include time on the production floor
