Our role.

Hunter Hamilton has a remote opportunity with our sister company for a motivated and experienced Sustainability Analyst to join their team. This role reports to the Senior Manager - Vendor Sustainability and is expected to function at the level of a Project Coordinator/Manager, owning and improving existing sustainability processes and contributing strategically to ESG initiatives.

In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing policies related to environmental, social, and governance practices for external vendors. This includes project coordination, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration within the ESG function and across other business units.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:



  • Partner with the Senior Manager and internal stakeholders to implement and continuously improve vendor ESG policy frameworks that align with corporate environmental sustainability goals


  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts by gathering business requirements and translating them into program needs


  • Conduct research, synthesize findings, and contribute to the development of vendor sustainability strategies


  • Stay current with ESG trends, regulatory updates, and industry best practices through regular research and monitoring


  • Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations on key sustainability metrics and initiatives


  • Track and manage sustainability performance data, KPIs, and improvement plans


  • Support evaluation of program effectiveness and lead efforts to recommend optimizations


  • Assist in the design and facilitation of internal sustainability-related training and communication initiatives



Requirements:



  • Working knowledge of environmental policy, regulations, and corporate sustainability frameworks (e.g., Scope 1-3 emissions, GHG Protocol)


  • 2-6 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated success in project coordination or management


  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities


  • Proficiency with Google Suite tools


  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments


  • Availability to support U.S. Eastern Time (EST) business hours preferred; CST may be considered



Our timeline.

The initial length is through 3/31/26, which can be extended depending on performance and business need.

Our pay.

Compensation is $35-37/hr, depending on location and experience
