Visa U.S.A. Inc, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Sourcing Analyst (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to
- Maximize the value and minimize the risk associated with contracts and procurement-related activities.
- Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and/or review requisitions for materials, products, and services.
- Guide internal business partners through the daily activities within the contract and purchasing processes and procure corporate/facilities, employee/human resources, and professional services while ensuring adherence to compliance regulations in accordance with Global Sourcing and Procurement policies and procedures.
- Engage and establish business partnerships with cross-functional leadership across Visa to collaborate, influence, and support sourcing strategies.
- Buy the highest quality materials, products, and services at the lowest cost.
- Consider price, quality, availability, reliability, and/or technical support when choosing suppliers.
- Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and/or other representatives.
- Create, write, negotiate, and review highly specialized CEP contracts.
- Work with internal business partners to establish agreements that reflect the interests of the company.
- Act as primary liaison to Legal and work with legal counsel and other stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions of the contracts.
- Purchase the highest quality materials, products, and services at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
- Research and evaluate suppliers, based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
- Work directly with suppliers and vendors to obtain materials, products, and services through preparation and administration of specialized Statements of Work/Quotes to validate favorable terms on quality, delivery and price and ensure end-user needs are met on a consistent basis.
- Formulate policies and procedures for bid proposals and/or procurement of materials, products, and services.
- Review and approve contracts in accordance with advanced Global Sourcing policies, procedures and standard terms and conditions.
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
- Ensure contract accuracy and rewrite or amend as necessary.
- Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sourcing and Procurement, Management or related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a sourcing analyst-related occupation
- Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Sourcing and Procurement, Management or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a sourcing analyst-related occupation.
- Procurement policies and procedures and their application to the processing of center transactions;
- Processing purchase requisitions, processing purchase orders, executing bidding for transactions, and conducting RFPs;
- Contract negotiation and drafting;
- Sourcing process, including internal approvals, risk assessments, process adherence scoring, new supplier onboarding, and data maintenance; and
- Proficiency in purchasing systems and organizational interfaces including Ariba, Coupa, DocuSign, and Oracle.
Additional Information
Worksite: Austin, TX This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
