VTG is looking for a Program Manager in Chantilly VA.


What will you do?

The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of assigned programs, ensuring all projects within the program align with organizational goals, meet performance expectations, and are delivered on time and within budget. This role oversees project planning, resource coordination, stakeholder communication, and the development and implementation of program controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned programs, ensuring effective execution across all projects.
  • Define, develop, and implement program controls, including tracking mechanisms, reporting standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and support cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Monitor program performance and progress, identifying and resolving issues to maintain schedule and budget compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Support contract compliance, deliverable tracking, and quality assurance.
  • Prepare and present regular program updates, status reports, and briefings to leadership and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in program management.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Poly required.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field or Business Management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive project or program management experience.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 25 or more individuals.
  • Strong understanding and application of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Scrum).
  • Previous experience managing large and/or complex programs or projects within the Intelligence Community.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
