Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience
  • Mechanical, Biomed, or Materials Engineering degree
  • Medical device and clean room experience (specifically scoping out new product line)
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment, catheter development, and new product development
  • Research process development functions



Project Engineer Summary

Lead daily support and continuous improvement of manufacturing products, processes, materials, and equipment. Drive production excellence in quality, delivery, cost efficiency, productivity, and safety

Key Responsibilities:



  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with R&D, Process Development, Quality Assurance, Production, Regulatory Affairs, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing to deliver complex manufacturing projects and ensure successful product launches.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement innovative solutions to achieve production targets. Utilize Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other process improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
  • New Product Development: Contribute to new product introduction (NPI) teams by supporting technology development, material testing, specification preparation, and process validation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex test data, prepare detailed technical reports, and communicate findings to engineering and technical teams.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, coordinate project goals, track progress, and recommend process or equipment changes.
  • Capital Equipment Management: Oversee Capital Equipment Request Authorizations (CERAs) and manage equipment upgrades or installations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, implement, and manage initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Training & Leadership: Train, mentor, and provide direction to operators, technicians, and junior engineers.
