Staffmark is hiring a Florist in Rayville, LA. Whether it's brightening someone's day with a bouquet or creating displays for weddings and memorials, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on, artistic environment and enjoys helping customers celebrate life's biggest moments.

Pay: $14 - $16 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What We're Looking For:

• 1 year of experience in floral design, floral retail, or a related artistic role
• A keen eye for design, color coordination, and attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move floral arrangements or supplies as needed
• A passion for creativity, teamwork, and helping customers commemorate special occasions

What You'll Do:

• Create eye-catching, fresh, and silk floral arrangements for retail, custom orders, and events
• Design bouquets, centerpieces, sprays, and other decorative floral pieces
• Assist customers with floral selections and guide design options
• Set up and break down displays for weddings, funerals, corporate events, and holidays
• Monitor and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and quality of flowers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace
• Stay informed on current floral design trends, techniques, and seasonal styles
• Process transactions, manage orders, and support walk-in customers with warmth and professionalism
