How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.

The TGM Operations Manager will be responsible for all gas container change operations and maintenance of gas delivery equipment at a customer location. He/ she will oversee a 24hr operation consisting of 4 shifts and will ensure the safety off all personnel, first time quality of work, craftsmanship, and proper communication/ reporting with customer representatives.

  • On time, in spec, delivery of chemicals and/or gases to the customer

  • Responsible for the maintenance of all gas systems.

  • Manage operations workforce. (Schedules, yearly end reviews, coaching or disciplinary actions)

  • Responsible for ensuring training and qualifications of employees up to date in all aspects of the operation, including Safety Training.

  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the customer.

  • Manage succession planning for the operation.

  • Safety Leadership is a primary accountability.

  • Update and maintain Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions.

  • Evaluate trends in monthly gas and/or chemical usage

  • Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements.

  • Assist in the identification and resolution of gas and/or chemical related semiconductor-manufacturing problems

  • Ensure Operations is completing rounds and issues are escalated or driven to completion

  • Maintain the Operations Task Analysis

  • Drive 6S

  • Maintain Site specific policies including but not limited to: Time cards, OT, Vacation, Safety, Appearance, Breaks, Electronics

  • Responsible for performing investigations and generating 5-Why responses to incidents

  • Coordinate with other TGCM Managers to share "Best Practices".

  • Develop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructions. Audit staff regularly to ensure adherance to 2PV and accuracy

  • Assist other Air Liquide onsite entities when needed (Back-up for BGY, Projects, etc.)

  • Keep current all required documentation for OSHA, ISO, Air Liquide America, and Customer Audits.

  • Work across Air Liquide groups/divisions to solve issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technology field strongly preferred, or equivalent in experience.

  • Good team leadership skills.

  • Solid understanding of chemical/gas distribution systems (fluid dynamics) and associated components.

  • Strong emphasis on safety

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Successful experience with conflict resolution

  • Successfully manage/ supervise a TGCM Operation for 5+ years and successfully Managed an operation within Air Liquide America, or equivalent experience in a like field.

  • Exemplary oral and written communications.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite strongly preferred

  • Knowledgeable in SAP

The salary range for this position in New York is $135,000-$145,000
