Overview
The Senior Director of Campaign Management is responsible for a team implementing and optimizing marketing campaigns and activities that can drive/contribute to revenue growth. A key activity is executing the strategy in the annual wheel with business outcome and impact as primary result. Furthermore, the Senior Director is responsible for defining how to go to market with product launches and how to maximize outcomes throughout the year. In addition, the Senior Director of Campaign Management is also responsible for designing and executing ad hoc campaigns and commercial marketing programs. The Senior Director is responsible for cross-team collaboration and that all marketing activities are implemented and anchored across teams and value chain. Hence, a close collaboration with training, sales and global partners is a must. A core responsibility includes leading the Consumer Marketing Consultant team, which acts as a strategic extension of the sales organization, focused on executing impactful B2B2C marketing initiatives. The team is expected to collaborate closely with sales while also conducting proactive customer outreach and marketing activation. The Senior Director is responsible for elevating this team into a true driver of business growth, including building compelling business cases that demonstrate value and contribute to broader commercial success.
Responsibilities
- Leadership of a team of marketeers. Driving team development and marketing capabilities to an even higher level. Develop clear direction and plan for both the channel team and the consumer marketing consultants.
- Execute annual wheel: Participate in the process of creating the annual wheel in close collaboration with the owner and other key stakeholders in the organization - sales and Global Marketing in particular. The annual wheel will guide marketing resources and align expectations with other functions. Execution and implementation of the annual wheel is a key responsibility of the Senior Director
- Plan and activate launches with the sales force: Activate launches and large campaigns in close collaboration with Learning and Development, Sales and Global Marketing. Work with clear segmentation and targeting in close collaboration with the sales team to ensure market impact with both new and existing customers
- Data & insights: Use data and insights based in all aspects and collaborate closely with the teams providing the data. It is expected that all activities outlined in the annual wheel are carefully designed based on data and insights.
- Local marketing support: Maximize use of local marketing support. Focus is to deliver both a high quantity of activities (+2,000 per year) as well as high quality of the activities
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: proactively build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within marketing, sales, Global marketing, training etc. Encouraging collaboration, connecting ideas and consulting on marketing opportunities. Leadership will be needed to ensure cross-functional collaboration and coordination in achievement of agreed-upon priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in marketing, including significant leadership responsibilities and a consistent track record of delivering impactful results.
- Exceptional people leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor high-performing teams. Skilled in navigating and managing organizational change, both within teams and across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep expertise across the full marketing toolbox, with a strong ability to design and execute innovative, results-driven marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated success in translating strategic vision into actionable tactics and operations, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Highly collaborative, with a strong ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Proven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns and product launches, from planning through execution and performance analysis.
- Strong operational and analytical acumen, using data to guide decisions and optimize outcomes.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $157,500 to $225,000 per year; however, while the salary range is effective as of the date of this posting, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges.
