GC Lab Technician

Lab Technician

Pay: $23 hr. to $26 hr.

Location: Sugar Land, TX

Contract: 12 months (could go perm)

• Position: GC Lab - Column Technician
• Position entails building columns (coiled tubing with different materials packed inside) for gas chromatographs.
• Position requires ability to measure lengths of tubing, cut tubing, pack/fill tubing, and testing the final product for flow measurements, using a flow meter.
• Position also requires the use of handheld tools and power tools (drill, etc.).
• Knowledge of Chemistry and eager to learn.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or similar field.
• Flexible to work overtime.
