Typical Day:

Interact with the "team" on opportunity vetting, capture, proposal preparation and turnover to operations.

Tasks:





  • Report directly to the CFO.
  • Lead pricing function with responsibility for preparing complex and compliant cost proposals/business volumes for Professional Services Government contractor with special emphasis on providing expertise in "strategic" pricing.
  • Proposal values up to $50m.
  • Interact with Capture Managers, senior Divisional management and Contracts to understand/translate RFP requirements into innovative, winning and accurate cost volume submissions.
  • Create estimates based on competitive Intelligence (CI) and industry knowledge.
  • Summarize details of conclusions derived from competitive analysis, brief executive management, and effectively respond to various competitive scenarios during real-time strategy discussions.
  • Lead pricing reviews and incorporate feedback into final proposal reviews.
  • May implement new practices for the pricing function as needed or for compliance.
  • Coordinate subcontractor responses and internal quoting on non-labor cost elements.
  • Strong experience in pricing various Government contract types (T&M, Fixed Price, FP LOE, Cost plus, IDIQ's, and GSA Schedules).



Required Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Government Contractor pricing positions.
  • Bachelor's Degree. Finance, accounting or other business-related degree preferred.
  • Able to work independently and develop complex pricing models in Excel.
  • Experience interacting and presenting to the C-Level of the corporation.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR Cost and Pricing regulations
  • Experience interfacing with DCAA on proposal audits
  • Highly skilled in Excel.


Desired Qualification:



  • MBA or Masters in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Use of Govwin for opportunity analysis
  • Use of pipeline tracking systems
  • Experience in a biometrics company

  • Flexible Day Schedule.
  • Remote or hybrid schedules available.
