Data Engineer/Data Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer / Data Analyst to support our enterprise data initiatives, including the development of our data warehouse and the migration of data from legacy systems to new ERP and HCM platforms. This role will work closely with our Enterprise Data Architect and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data integration, transformation, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL)

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines to support data migration and integration efforts.
• Support the development and maintenance of the enterprise data warehouse and data marts.
• Work with structured and semi-structured data from multiple systems, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity.
• Participate in data mapping, cleansing, validation, and transformation activities.

ERP/HCM Data Migration

• Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and the data architect to understand data requirements for ERP and HCM systems.
• Execute data ETL processes to support system migration.
• Assist in testing and validating migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Reporting & Analysis

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data feeds, dashboards, and reports supporting analytics platforms.
• Develop libraries and feeds to support ad hoc data analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
• Document data flows, processes, and technical specifications.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field.
• Proficiency with SQL development and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Oracle Analytics, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Understanding of data modeling, normalization, and data quality best practices.
• Exposure to large enterprise systems (ERP, HCM) and data migration projects is highly desirable.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud data platforms, tools, or architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and data transport mechanisms.
• Understanding of cloud data platforms, architecture, and integrations.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
