The department collaborates with internal clients and suppliers managing more than $12 billion of annual company spend to develop mutually beneficial total value solutions for goods and services. The department provides the following services to internal clients: procurement of goods and services, strategic sourcing and cost savings, category management, supplier relationship management, execution and outreach, compliance management, ongoing procurement field support and management of the source to pay cycle. Position Summary The Manager, IT Procurement drives the client experience by developing and leading effective Strategic Sourcing strategies and effective Category Management and contract execution, contract and overall contract governance. This position supports the portfolio's goals through transactional awareness to identify potential cost savings, diversity, green supply chain, spend reduction, supplier consolidation, and standardization opportunities. This position identifies opportunities for efficiency within corporate and sourcing policies and processes to improve results for both Sourcing and Portfolio clients. The Manager, IT Procurement leads multiple spend categories within a portfolio. This position drives category management strategies with their team and influences key stakeholders to become trusted business advisors. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland based on business needs. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill beplaced towards the middle or entry pointof the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.
