Amplify is seeking a PreK-5 English Language Arts (ELA) Content and Instructional Specialist to develop a range of materials for our K-5 core elementary literacy program. These materials include standards correlations, bid responses, custom instructional materials, and other technical documents. Our small, collaborative team creates instructional materials that introduce rich, standards-aligned knowledge into ELA classrooms to engage students, enhance literacy skills, and foster careful reading, writing, speaking, and listening for a various audiences. We seek individuals who understand both texts and elementary students, think creatively about literacy skills, have a strong grasp of standards-aligned instruction, and possess excellent attention to detail. The Content and Instructional Specialist will report directly to the Director, PreK-5 Literacy Curriculum and Head of In-Market Management, Content.

**This is a temporary contract position scheduled to end on December 31, 2025.**

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop state standards correlations

  • Produce technical documents, rubrics, and materials for district and state adoption submissions

  • Collaborate with content, product, and marketing teams to explain program pedagogy and instructional models

  • Design custom materials to support instruction

Required Qualifications:

  • BA in Education or Humanities field

  • 3+ years of education experience

  • Experience creating standards correlations and documentation for state-level adoptions

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and balance work on multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing instructional materials for teachers and students

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Well-read, with excellent reading and analytical skills

Compensation:

The hourly rate range for this role is $40.00-$50.00.
