Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop original design concepts that elevate brand presence across all touchpoints
  • Create and refine visual systems that embody brand identity, tone, and strategic positioning
  • Design compelling layouts, typography, imagery, and overall visual cohesion across platforms
  • Master and utilize the full Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools
  • Learn and internalize client brand guidelines to become a true brand ambassador
  • Stay current with design trends, technologies, and industry-specific visual conventions
  • Provide art direction and creative leadership to ensure cohesive brand representation

Cross-Platform Design Excellence

  • Design print collateral including brochures, magazines, direct mail, signage, and packaging materials
  • Create consistent and engaging digital assets including websites, landing pages, microsites, and email campaigns
  • Develop motion graphics, animations, and visual elements for video content
  • Design social media content across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
  • Create visually compelling paid digital advertising creative elements
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout integrated marketing campaigns across all touchpoints
  • Design responsive visual systems that maintain integrity across various screen sizes and devices

Retail & Packaging Design Expertise

  • Design retail-specific visual systems with clear communication hierarchies across in-store environments
  • Create impactful point-of-purchase materials, shelf talkers, display units, and window signage
  • Design packaging that balances regulatory requirements with compelling brand expression
  • Establish visual consistency from primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging to in-store displays
  • Apply visual merchandising principles to retail design materials
  • Translate shopper marketing concepts into visuals that enhance the customer journey
  • Design intuitive wayfinding systems and signage programs for retail spaces
  • Implement effective product information hierarchy on packaging (benefits, features, claims, etc.)
  • Ensure consistent visual language across product families and retail touchpoints
  • Design visual systems that create cohesion between online product listings and in-store presentation

Campaign & Strategy Support

  • Collaborate with campaign teams to translate strategic concepts into visual execution
  • Interpret campaign briefs and strategic documents into visual design solutions
  • Ensure consistent visual language across all campaign elements and customer journey touchpoints
  • Identify opportunities for visual innovation while maintaining brand consistency
  • Document evolving visual systems to maintain historical brand continuity
  • Collaborate with copywriters and marketing teams to integrate verbal and visual communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design with a focus on brand development
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and design execution
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, XD)
  • Experience with digital design tools and prototyping platforms
  • Understanding of printing processes, production requirements, and file preparation
  • Knowledge of video and motion graphics production
  • Experience developing and implementing comprehensive brand guidelines
  • Understanding of retail environments and shopper marketing principles
  • Knowledge of packaging design principles and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to varied industry visual languages
  • Strong visual literacy and understanding of design principles
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present and defend design concepts
  • Portfolio demonstrating design excellence across multiple platforms

Estimated total compensation for this position:

100,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
