Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience

What this job involves: We are seeking a dynamic and qualified individual for the role of Receptionist to provide reliable, timely, and efficient support. This position will report to the JLL Workplace Services Manager. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The individual will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. This role provides a wide variety of support services to the client office and the successful candidate will be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a team player attitude.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Greet and direct all visitors accordingly, providing the necessary orientation to all visitors, employees and contractors.
  • Provide security badges for visitors and regular employees and track related badging process activities.
  • Enter or process data, work orders, or information as required.
  • Perform clerical or administrative duties as needed, such as assisting with filing and database systems, attendance records and other related office support duties.
  • Respond to basic client and general enquiries and escalate complex queries to the appropriate parties Maintains a clean, organize and safe workspace.
  • Comply with all the policies and procedures of JLL and client facility.

Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Desired or Preferred Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role in a corporate environment
  • Experience with visitor management systems and badge processing software
  • Knowledge of security procedures and protocols in office settings
  • Prior experience working in facilities management, property management, or related industries
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with electronic work order systems or facilities management software
  • Experience working in a client-facing role for a service provider
  • Basic understanding of building systems and operations
  • Ability to assist with event coordination and meeting room management
  • Experience in high-volume reception environments

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of receptionist or customer service experience in a professional office environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with multi-line telephone systems and basic office equipment
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks independently
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality record
  • Basic knowledge of office administrative procedures and standard office equipment
  • Ability to follow established security protocols for visitor management

Estimated total compensation for this position:

38,000.00 - 42,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
