The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is possibly looking for a Senior SAP Consultant to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Aberdeen, MD. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive front-end requirements analysis and diagnostics to identify performance problem areas and root causes.
- Conduct regular Command-wide supplemental controls and substantive testing to identify areas where CECOM is contributing to an impediment to the Army's financial statement auditability and prioritize the impediments based on material impact to proper financial statement presentation. The audit readiness evaluation will identify all high-risk financial areas of weakness.
- Administer testing and evaluate each major business processes, coving all funding sources.
- Conduct on-site assessments based on testing above and on-site corrective and process-driven training to assist in the corrective action implementation identified through multiple monthly testing efforts, supplemental testing, and/or external financial statement audits. The assessments and on-site training will focus on determining key areas of weakness in business processes, controls and systems that may affect the Army's financial statements.
- Shall evaluate, measure, and validate the effectiveness of the delivered training/learning solutions(s) to ensure the successful accomplishment of goals, objectives, and projected return-on-investment. Ensure evaluation feedback and results are incorporated into improved solutions and continuous improvement.
- Shall review the audit readiness repository, i.e. SharePoint, which captures data gathered from site visits to provide CECOM leadership with an accurate snapshot of the Commands progress towards auditability and individual impediments to auditability.
- Review the repository and provide a clear operating structure of the data repository. This includes reviewing documentation after upload, as well as ensuring that the repository structure (folders, document, etc.) are intuitive.
- Develop a comprehensive transformational Implementation Plan that will serve as the guiding document used to execute the Army's Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiative.
- Coordinate A-123/ERM activities with strategic planning and review. The strategic plans shall include concepts from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123, Guidance from the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO), Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) Risk Maturity Model, and Internal Standards Organizations (ISO) 31000:2009. Identify the broad spectrum of risks facing CECOM to include financial, operational, strategic, and compliance. Assess, monitor, and review analytical reports and/or data to continually assess the risk response strategy, effectiveness of achieving objectives, recommend and document changes to the strategic plan.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: B.A./ B.S. Degree in a business field required. (Master's Degree in Business, Finance or Management information systems desired.) REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ten (10) years of experience required (can be concurrent or non-concurrent) with DoD Financial Management/ERP systems integrations, as an SAP ERP analyst and consultant for Army Financial Systems, implementation or upgrade of SAP ERP central component (SAP ECC) experience, experience resolving complex LMP and GFEBS issues, with experience in design and implementation of LMP and GFEBS interfaces, and. demonstrated expertise in SAP Tables and back-end components of Army systems.
- Experience in performing audit readiness services within the Department of Defense, knowledgeable of GAAP, FASAB, GAGAS, internal control over financial reporting (ICOFR), OMB Circular A-123, GAO Green Book, DoD Financial Management Regulation, and DoD and Army organizational structures, be familiar with pertinent Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management system requirements, be familiar with Army policies, systems and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property and material management and be familiar with the Army's Risk Management and Internal Control Program.
- Provide experiences and proven strategies after reviewing CECOMs audit readiness with recommendations to ensure audit success.
