Regions Hospital is hiring a Lead Polysomnographic Technologist. Under the direction of the Manager, Sleep Health Center / Sleep Center Medical Director, directs team members and is responsible for the work of other Polysomnographic Technologists. Responsibilities include:
This position may require some basic travel to outreach facilities for shift coverage or any necessary, job-related tasks assigned by management. Work schedule: FTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly), Day Shift Required Qualifications: Education: Successful completion of an accredited polysomnography program OR successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one (1) year duration associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility. One of the following may substitute for the above requirements: 1.) Licensed as Respiratory Therapist (LRT/MNRT) with State of Minnesota or 2.) Registered as an EEG technician by ASET (American Society of Electro neurodiagnostic Technologists). Experience: A minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist with documented proficiency in all required competencies. Prior experience as a sleep center lead OR lead/supervisor from a different industry is required. You may also substitute the above experience with: Associate degree, with an emphasis in polysomnography, and two (2) years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist. Licensure/Certification: RPSGT certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and BCLS certification required.
