Part Time Office Staff Requisition ID: 2025-9289 # of Openings: 1 Location: US-UT-Price Category: Administrative/Clerical Position Type: Non-benefited (hourly) Part-Time Job Classification: Non-Benefited College: Statewide Campuses Department: Statewide Campuses-USUE-Stud Affrs Advertised Salary: $15.00 an hour Overview The Staff Assistant II will support the TRIO Upward Bound Program on the USU Eastern Campus in Price, Utah. This assistance includes: monitoring and tracking the grant budgets, maintaining records to document compliance with grant objectives, tracking student contact time with grant personnel, planning and scheduling events and travel, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, creating Excel and maintaining BLUMEN databases of student information, providing support for project reports and Annual Performance Reports (APR) to the Department of Education, taking and preparing minutes of staff meetings, and providing other clerical support as assigned. Position is a Grant Funded position; continued employment is contingent on funding. (Continuing through 08/2027) Responsibilities Office Organization and Management:

Physical demands may include lifting and transporting bins or boxes containing program supplies, typically weighing up to 30 pounds. The role may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, and participation in meetings or outreach events. Mental demands include managing multiple tasks, adapting to changing student needs, and maintaining effective communication with high school students from diverse backgrounds, including those who may require additional academic or emotional support. Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to support program events or student engagement activities. The ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach is essential.
