Assembly Technician Job Posting Job Title: Assembly Technician Location: Deer Park, TX Pay: $28 - $30/hr DOE Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in assembling components, with a focus on valves, actuators, and tube bending techniques. This role requires precision, leadership, and proficiency in operating various tools and equipment. Responsibilities Perform assembly from components per assembly drawings and bill of materials. Oversee functional testing on assemblies to ensure compliance with customer and/or division criteria. Operate test equipment in accordance with engineering standards. Monitor, apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools. Utilize tube bending techniques and equipment to bend tubing to precise specifications. Lead work efforts and collaborate effectively with team members. Operate forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and other departmental equipment as needed for assembly tasks. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, with specific expertise in valves and actuators. Proficiency in tube bending techniques and equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read assembly drawings and bills of material. Experience operating forklifts and other departmental machinery. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. Ability to lead and guide others in work efforts. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
