To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visitwww.amcor.comILinkedInIGlassdoorIFacebook IYouTube Job Description About the Role The Material Handler operates and maintains a forklift to supply production operations with raw materials to produce finished product, transfer finished product to storage or staging area, and ensures finished product is loaded onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements. Base Pay 21.00-23.40 per hour based on skills, ability and experience Operates and maintains forklift in a safe and efficient manner using work instructions, visual management and computer interface Supplies production operations with raw materials to produce finished product Prints and scans Bill of Lading for all finished goods using computer interface and RF scanner Inspects finished goods for quality defects Transfers finished goods to staging or storage areas Loads finished goods onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customers delivery requirements Accurately completes all written logs and data input to include closing sequences on tickets and printing Bill of Lading Ensures accurate inventory counts and notifies lead/supervisor of discrepancies Effectively communicates with all internal departments Removes/reworks any damaged product on pallets Maintains a clean work area and performs general housekeeping duties Follow all HACCP, GMP and Product Safety rules and guidelines Train current and new members of the department to perform job related tasks as needed Ability to perform duties for 12-hour shift in a plant manufacturing setting Complete all other tasks assigned Physical Requirements Normal Vision Hearing/Listening Sitting Distant Vision Talking/Speaking Standing Near Vision Hand/Finger Dexterity Walking Stooping Pushing/Pulling Bending Kneeling Climbing Driving- Forklift Carrying (>50 pounds) Lifting (50+ pounds) Carrying (<50 pounds) Lifting (< 50 pounds) About You High school diploma or GED Experience operating a forklift preferred Possess a valid driver's license Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment What we offer you Opportunity for career advancement with a global company Competitive medical and dental benefits 401k with company match Gainsharing program Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Company paid life insurance 14-16 work days per month And more!
