Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations in the Fox School of Business and School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management (STHM), the Part-time Director of Development will support the fundraising efforts focused on STHM. This position will work across STHM, collaborating at all levels to identify, cultivate, and solicit prospective and current donors. The Part-time Director will be focused on securing philanthropic gifts working from a portfolio of alumni and other prospects within the STHM community. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree
* Six (6) or more years of directly related experience in either fundraising or corporate business development
* Demonstrated success and experience with one-on-one communications with donors and prospects
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities
* Strong project management and management skills (including planning, negotiation, and communication skills)
* Knowledge of applicable professional principles and financial and budgeting principles
* Demonstrated problem-solving, research, attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to initiate, analyze, monitor, evaluate and advance strategic advancement plans
* Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in an environment including diverse groups of faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and students
* Ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs and applicable fundraising software
* Ability to travel and work nights and/or weekends, if necessary

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote). The duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
