SUMMARY This entry-level role supports all departments and administrative functions primarily through deliveries, office maintenance, and general support tasks. The ideal candidate is a dependable self-starter who can work independently and communicate professionally with staff. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform deliveries and pickups (offices, jobsites, grocery store, etc)
- Load and transport large documents, file cabinets, and furnishings (up to 50 lbs).
- Organize and maintain archived files, including scanning and digital storage.
- Support administrative tasks such as conference room preparation and cleanup
- Support office facilities team with basic maintenance items or restocking supplies
- Support safety and cleanliness protocols, such as light cleaning or sanitizing shared spaces
- Communicate with vendors or service providers for deliveries, pickups, or minor repair coordination.
- Assist with the set up or break down workstations.
- Assist with special projects, such as company events, office moves, or seasonal activities.
- Provide back up to front desk staff as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record - 5 years of documented driving experience
- Must be age 21 or over to meet business automobile insurance requirements.
- Ability to safely drive a large vehicle in high-traffic environments.
- Professional communication skills interacting with staff, clients, vendors.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items, up to 50lbs.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills w/ ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, highly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Front Desk/Runner employees
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and work on a computer.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb (ladders), kneel, crouch, crawl or lift objects up to 50 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies, furniture, boxes, shipments).
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and scanners.
- Visual ability to read documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.
- Ability to occasionally travel to other offices (e.g., internal meetings or trainings).
