The Business Manager Clinical is responsible for providing support for assigned area, managing processes related to financial and strategic planning, statistical studies, and process improvement activities. The Business Manager will oversee internal initiatives like monitoring and management of productivity, procedural scheduling management, utilization statistics, financial performance (expense and revenue), and maintaining operational and quality statistics.
- Tracking and reporting KPIs for our department to include admission data, percentage of provider acceptance rates for program, readmissions, logistics etc.

Assists leadership and finance with the development of annual operational budgets for assigned areas to include revenue and expense, program changes, objectives, and FTE budgets. Advises leaders in budget management, cost monitoring and variance accountability. Maintains regular system of expense and utilization review to ensure the effective use of resources. Oversees the procedural billing process to ensure that charge codes, data and charge entry, and revenue capture are up to date and compliant. Supports resolution of patient or organizational billing concerns. Supports software validation and updates needed to support clinical and business operations, to include process improvement, optimization, incorporation of AI features. Serves as primary data manager for service area providing ongoing as well as ad hoc reports and data to leadership. Works closely with division management and IT to ensure data is accurate and available in a timely manner. Manages, analyzes and assesses data from a variety of reports related to metrics, including but not limited to BI dashboards, Core Measures, Patient/ Physician/Staff Satisfaction and any other Performance or Quality measure, Charge Capture activity, and utilization. Prepares various statistical reports, audit of regulatory compliance, and other systems. Manages IT, equipment, & software systems, project management, implementation, and ongoing operations. Supports contracting of equipment, supplies, and resources to ensure timely execution of systems and services. Performs other duties as assigned. |
EDUCATION: |
Required: Bachelor?s Degree Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Finance |
EXPERIENCE: |
Required: A minimum of (3) years? experience in business healthcare setting |
