The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for an Program Coordinator to provide research support administration services for our government customer in San Antonio, TX.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate proposal submissions by working in tandem with Government personnel to prepare a budget and develop and write the statement of work (SOW), as needed.
  • Utilize standard language to ensure that all communications with study sponsors, contractors, PIs, and research team members comply with applicable standards and regulations. This may require communications with legal counsel when necessary.
  • Facilitate the development and execution of research agreements including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA).
  • Work with the PI and Director with preparation of grant documents that are required to be updated for project inquiries and agreement reporting.
  • Work with the PI and Director to prepare grant budget and budget justification.
  • Facilitate preparation of related supporting documents for grant submission including SOW, facilities and resources, letter of support (LOS).
  • Complete submission materials within 2 duty days of receiving to meet institutional and grant deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback from PI, Director, and other study team members into revisions of grant documents with 2 duty days.
  • Ensure language in CRADA, SOW, and other pre-award documents is consistent with each other, and provide any feedback to PI to allow for corrections to be made.
  • Work with the command leadership to address attorney's questions on CRADA, SOW, and other pre-award documents as needed.
  • Create full routing package and submit the agreement to the administrative office for Command Signature/Approval.
  • Maintain electronic documentation of pre-award documents related to grants including documents received from sponsors and collaborators.
  • Maintain an organized versioning system of grants folders and related documents in the existing electronic filing system by updating the system as documents are received.
  • Maintain grants folders of studies by regularly archiving old documents in the existing electronic filing system.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Minimum of bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience or master's degree.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
