Position Description:
As a Program Coordinator III in Kern National Network you will work independently under the administrative direction of the Program Director of to coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of MCW Flourishing. Provide support and guidance to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program's goals, including learning engagements.
Primary Functions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies
- Contribute to the development of program materials including communication materials, educational materials, and reports.
- Work with program team to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the program.
- Work with the program team to coordinate learning and community events for MCW Flourishing project teams and stakeholders, including speaker series, scholar visits, and other engagements.
- Schedule people and material resources.
- Conduct and manage program outreach activities including acting as a liaison with departments and institutional leaders.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate program data. Report program data and progress to program stakeholders.
- Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession.
- Participate in the development of program resources through literature searches, contact with outside programs, and review and solicitation of funding opportunities.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
- Strong writing and communication skills. Able to convey complex topics in multiple formats, including writing, powerpoint, and other visual formats.
- Project coordination or management skills. Able to effectively manage projects that involve multiple groups and components with hard deadlines.
- Organization, time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.

Position Requirements:
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Required Experience: 5 years
Preferred Experience: Experience in communications, event planning, and/or nonprofit program management. Project management experience.
