Your role.

Working as part of a team, this role will manage the technical education program for the Wealth Management service area in compliance with relevant quality control standards.

This role will be embedded in the Wealth Management practice. It will report to the Wealth Management Education Committee (the Committee) Chair and will collaborate closely with the Committee, which is made up of practice representatives, regarding curriculum planning and quality of content and facilitation. This role will also work closely with the Learning and Development Team as a resource for both instructional design and program logistics and other firm SMEs as necessary.

Specifically, this role will align the needs of the Wealth Management service area (with the support of the L&D team) to create and carry out the vision for the program, manage needs assessment, and build a team to carry out the objectives including but not limited to, facilitation and content development. This role requires strong project management, technical, staff development, and communication skills.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage the Wealth Management practice's training programs focused on developing the competence and capabilities of staff to perform activities or carry out responsibilities to consistently perform quality engagements
  • Develop learning content to support competencies and bridge the technical knowledge to the L&D projects. Position may be building on established educational content or creating original training materials.
  • Work with a team (both on the Wealth Management service side and L&D) to design, develop and produce training materials, including:
    • Determining Agendas
    • Developing content (including cross-training between practices)
    • Aligning technology needs
    • Aligning facilitators
    • Managing a group of content contributors
  • Assist with content build-out for the strategic vision of the Firm
  • Collaborate with various technical teams within the Firm to identify training gaps
  • Engage in efforts to stay current within the practice
  • Develop and mentor others; build competencies in others through effective leadership, coaching, and teaching
  • Provide feedback to others on the effectiveness of programs

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting required
  • 3+ years of recent experience within Wealth Management required
  • Experience with Office 365, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with the ability to creatively and concisely explain complex financial planning and holistic wealth management matters
  • Exemplify enthusiasm and actively embrace teamwork while demonstrating high adaptability and flexibility to meet the unique needs of the service area.
  • Manage workload to consistently meet client expectations and deadlines

We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience is provided in accordance with applicable state requirement. Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO or IL. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location.

Colorado monthly base range is as follows: $6,958.33 - $10,375

Illinois monthly base range is as follows: $7,166.67 - $10,708.33
