Overview

As a Structurer in the newly created 'Corporates Finance FIC Solutions' team within Structuring, you will be closing working with O&A bankers, RMS and Structuring teams. You will be engaged in evaluating Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) deals and other major corporate transactions and originating Deal contingent transactions for Fixed Income business within Investment Bank. The teams you will be working with are based in London, New York and Singapore and works tightly together across the three locations.

What You'll Do

  • Role broader than Deal Contingent across FIC products
  • Improvement in the O&A process
  • Legal docs, review of risk appetite with Trading based on data

How You'll Lead

  • Responsible for origination of Deal Contingent transactions and other Fixed Income business on with O&A bankers, working closely with broader FX, Rates Structuring and RMS teams
  • Evaluating M&A deals and other major corporate transactions, providing input to internal stakeholders including the Deal Contingent Committee

Skills You'll Need

  • Experience in corporate/leveraged finance, ALM structuring, debt advisory and consulting
  • Substantial experience and understanding of financial modelling, as well as key accounting concepts, financial analysis and valuation techniques
  • Experience in derivatives of FX, Rates and Credit or also Deal Contingent hedging will also be interesting
  • Experience in the Mergers & Acquisition space or advisory space is preferable

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to convey ideas effectively; any additional languages are welcomed
  • Capability to work independently and under pressure, prioritizing tasks and being proactive in taking the lead and initiative in moving transactions forward
  • Commercial acumen, analytical and numerate
  • Degree level education, with any relevant further qualifications considered favorably (e.g. CFA, MSc. Finance)
  • High levels of competence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $200K to $387K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
