Job Description: This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes, ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting. Job expectations include understanding and implementing internal/external mandate, ensuring compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments, and manages traceability. Responsibilities:
- Python and PowerShell/Unix coding & scripting.
- Architecting automation solutions for Quality Engineering testing deliverables, along with providing support for implementation.
- Lead, monitor, and improve automation framework. (Including automation maintenance / best practices)
- Git/Bitbucket and CI/CD
- Test case development, execution, and issue identification / resolve.
- Capable enough to complete tasks independently and quickly.
- Collaborate with team and business partners.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changes in project scope.
Required Skills:
- 10 + years Automation testing experience
- 10+ years Python - hands-on
- Strong Infrastructure as Code exposure with any public cloud
- 10 + CloudPlatform knowledge (Any 1 or more of these; AWS / Azure / Google)
- Agile methodology
- Excellent technical and verbal analytical skills.
Secondary Skills: (Nice to have but not required)
- Cloud testing experience.
- Experience with various testing methods (unit testing, smoke test, sanity testing, regression testing etc)
- Test case management tools.
- Tertiary (Terraform)
- Microsoft Co-pilot knowledge.
- CI/CD Knowledge
