POSITION SUMMARY The Data Analyst III will serve as the subject matter expert for Core Processing and associated systems. This position will manage the systems for core processing system, document management system and data warehousing system, reporting systems and other systems related to the core processing system. This includes installation of new releases, patches and system changes. The Data Analyst III will manage our data sets, troubleshoot and develop reports, workflows, processes and data issues. This role will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This position will also provide mentorship for junior level staff within the department. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Embody the Credit Union's core values of Trust, Integrity, Teamwork and Making a Difference and ensure that new employees understand and embrace these core values. * Oversees the Core Solutions software systems and operational functions to ensure the daily operation of the Credit Union's system and the capacity to provide for present and future system needs. * Defines project requirements for Core Solutions assignments in Credit Union projects by identifying milestones, phases, and elements; by reviewing and creating estimated SOWs. * Monitors and reports project and non-project requests by tracking activity and assignments, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions. * Develops and maintains an adequate level of knowledge in credit union matters and management techniques and demonstrates personal and interpersonal behavior, attitude, judgment, communication, and initiative with customers and employees to ensure an acceptable degree of performance. * Responsible for the full lifecycle of software development including requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of simple to highly complex computer programs and subsystem for Fiserv DNA. * Responsible management and optimization of databases including creation, updates, deletion and providing quality assurance of imported data. * Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines. * Manage and maintain the data stored in the core system, document management imagining system, data warehousing and reporting system by providing quality assurance of imported data, creation, updates, and identifying or revising reporting requirements. * Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization. * Creating and generating reports, workflows, processes and programs from single or multiple sources for the organization. * Conducts detailed analysis of system interactions to determine technical solutions and resolve problems which are cost effective and consistent with user needs, system capacities and capabilities. * Oversee Core Solutions manual processes which include transmitting data, running recurring and non-recurring processes to assign, validate and review for automating and creating efficient processes. * Develop and maintain documentation for all programs, systems, and procedures related to the core system. * Demonstrates solid project management, problem solving and technical expertise to ensure successful completion of all programming related requests.
* Perform System Administration of the core system, document management imaging system, and data warehousing & reporting system including installation of new releases and patches and security administration. * Mentor data analysts' personnel in technical complexities of assigned work. * Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
