Role Overview Our client is seeking an Epic Tapestry Certified Application Specialist to support multiple initiatives within one of their service lines. This role is critical for enhancing workflows and ensuring accurate data submission, particularly around Encounter and Claims processes. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities *Develop and document clinical and operational workflows tailored to PACE. *Lead build, testing, and deployment activities in Epic Tapestry, especially for Encounter and Claims modules. *Collaborate with Application Services and operational stakeholders to align system functionality with business needs. *Provide mentorship and backfill support for existing PACE program staff. *Ensure compliance with CMS and HIPAA standards in all configurations and data submissions. ________________________________________ Deliverables *Regular project updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to leadership. *Participation in project status meetings and coordination with project managers. *Testing of all build components in POC and TST environments prior to production deployment. *Documentation of build, testing, and knowledge transfer to internal teams. *Administrative reporting, including time entry and meeting participation. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience *Epic Tapestry Certification (Claims and/or Encounter modules preferred). *Strong experience with PACE programs, managed care, and regulatory data submission. *Proven ability to manage Epic build cycles and collaborate across clinical and technical teams. *Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment. *Skills* EPIC, Application support, Tapestry, PACE, Encounters, Claims *Top Skills Details* EPIC, Application support, Tapestry, PACE, Encounters, Claims *Additional Skills & Qualifications* An Epic Tapestry PACE Specialist typically specializes in configuring and supporting Epic's Tapestry module with a focus on PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) operations. This role is situated within the broader context of healthcare payer systems and managed care, and it requires a deep understanding of both Epic's Tapestry suite and the unique needs of PACE programs. Key Responsibilities Likely Include: Configuration and Maintenance: Setting up and maintaining Tapestry modules such as Membership, Benefits, Claims, and Provider Management to support PACE workflows Integration and Customization: Collaborating with EDI and data integration teams to ensure seamless data flow, especially for enrollment (834), claims (837), and remittance (835) transactions Workflow Development: Designing and testing workflows tailored to the PACE model, which integrates medical and social services for elderly patients. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all configurations meet CMS and HIPAA standards, which are critical in PACE programs. Collaboration: Working closely with clinical, operational, and technical teams to align system functionality with care delivery goals. Required Skills and Certifications: Epic Tapestry Certification in relevant modules (e.g., Membership, Benefits, Claims). Experience with managed care organizations, especially those serving dual-eligible or elderly populations. Familiarity with Healthy Planet (Epic's population health module) is often a plus, as it complements Tapestry in managing clinical and social determinants of health Why It's Specialized: PACE programs are unique in that they combine Medicare and Medicaid funding to provide comprehensive care to frail elderly individuals.
