Service Technician - TEKsystems's Client Based in Nashville \| Drive Your Own SUV or Pickup \| Fire, Access, CCTV \| 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Are you ready to take your technical skills on the road and be the go-to expert for commercial security systems? TEKsystems's client is looking for a Service Technician who's confident working independently, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about delivering top-tier service. You'll be the face of the company at client sites, solving problems, upgrading systems, and keeping businesses secure. What You'll Be Doing * Tackle service tickets solo for fire systems, access control, and camera systems in commercial and enterprise settings. * Perform system testing, signal verification, and customer training on-site. * Handle new installations, upgrades, and add-ons with precision and professionalism. * Maintain your own truck stock and tools, and keep documentation up to date. * Organize your week with a pre-assigned schedule and hit the ground running. What You Bring * At least 1 year of experience with fire, access, CCTV, or intrusion systems. * Working knowledge of local/national codes, wiring, and system drawings. * A valid driver's license, a reliable SUV or pickup truck, and the ability to pass a drug screen. * A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
