JOB TITLE: Business Systems Analyst
LOCATION: 1 Health Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Duties include: Serve as the liaison between IT and business end-users; Play a key role in implementation, supporting and troubleshooting business-critical projects and processes as in member and provider notices and provider payment materials; Organize, facilitate, and assist in leading meetings with all involved teams (business units, development and technical teams, and external vendors to define and distribute requirements; Run and coordinate one-to-one testing activities with each team as well as end-to-end testing for entire business process, obtain sign-off approval, provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting; Analyze and understand business processes, capture and coordinate enhancement and change requests from internal departments relative to Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS); Participate in the design and development of system enhancements critical to project implementation, proper execution of departmental needs and operational performance alignment; Facilitate and document requirements for public facing web applications; Actively work with development and technical teams, UA/UX specialist, business units throughout the project cycle, including testing and UAT activities. Work with internal business units on creating and maintaining supporting documentation; Play the role of primary specialist of system configuration and troubleshooting related to notices and payment documents generation process; Work with internal departments to gather requirements, create/update configurations in MMIS system. Actively work on troubleshooting and submitting requests to development team for system enhancements and bug fixes; Work with stakeholders from internal business units on analyzing their business processes along with the opportunities for system enhancements; Perform gap analysis, process mappings; Participate in root-cause failure analysis, drive resolution, and clarify problem and/or opportunity statements; Participate in business and technical requirements reviews, user acceptance testing, training, and deployment activities; Create a user acceptance test (UAT) scripts/scenarios, lead business units in the execution and tracking of UAT, and report back to development team and stakeholder's outcome of the UAT. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related business systems occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
* Implementation of new software technologies/features involving large scale projects and complex workflows.
* Core project management including gathering requirements, estimating, planning, delivering and prioritizing multiple initiatives.
* Agile SDLC & PMLC, and Waterfall;
* Gathering of detailed business, functional and non-functional requirements.
* Relationship management and facilitation skills with stakeholders, vendors, and senior leaders.
* Testing methodologies including end-to-end testing, User Acceptance Testing, functional testing.
* Confluence pages, workflow diagrams.
* Addressing support tickets.
RATE OF PAY: $127,712 - $131,500 / per year
