THE POSITION

The Juvenile Department is currently recruiting for a full-time Administrative Specialist II to join the Conciliation Service Team as they work towards the Juvenile Department's mission of protecting the public by reducing delinquency and restoring victims and the community by holding youth accountable.

This position will work with the Conciliation Services Team, consisting of a supervisor, two conciliation counselors, and an administrative specialist II to lead the daily administrative work as directed by the State of Oregon Courts, the family law education program, and mediation services as required by Oregon Revised Statutes.   • highly organized in an office setting.
  • Is responsive and pro-active, adept at pivoting working priorities, with the ability to multi-task and make independent decisions.
  • maintains work and departmental boundaries during stressful situations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; and
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience providing administrative or clerical support.
  • Possession of Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or other applicable certifications may substitute for up to one (1) year of the experience requirement.

  • Must pass a criminal background check post-offer.

  7. Start Date: A start date will be determined after all conditions of employment have been met.
