Regional Sales Representative

JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Representative develops, increases
and maintains sales for the assigned regional area of responsibility. The
Region Sales Representative assists the Region Sales Manager with the daily
operation and profitability of the assigned regional area of responsibility, LAMP
sales, business development, product training and support and all safety
programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Develops and implements
    strategic business plan to achieve growth from existing and new markets
    for unconventional well completion business including sales targets,
    product mix, new product introductions, pricing and required marketing
    content.
  • Participate in management
    meetings and takes responsibility for sales improvement and marketing
    support initiatives.
  • Educate Operating companies
    about the products and services within our business unit.
  • Prepares and maintains monthly
    reports and presentations to track performance and update senior
    management on sales progress.
  • Represents Core Lab - Owen Oil
    Tools at industry related organizations and events
  • Enhance global revenue, profit,
    and market share with major accounts, through both existing and new
    business initiatives, with proactive focus on value-added products and/or
    services.
  • Prepares sales quotations and
    agreements using ERP and/or CRM Software.
  • Negotiates a mutually
    satisfactory resolution to client invoicing inquiries.
  • Monitors and supports sales
    regions with current market status and/or changes with new technologies.
  • Responsible for Account
    Management.
  • Support New Product
    Commercialization Process.
  • Communicates with all levels of
    the organization to promote positive relationships and coordination of
    duties, policies, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of oil & gas industry experience required,
    completions preferred.
  • Strong communication skills
    required in order to interface with various levels within the company and
    with clients.
  • Extensive industry
    experience and independent judgment required to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to interact effectively
    with clients and company personnel in order to provide information and
    technical support.
  • Microsoft Office including
    Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Intermediate computer skills (MS
    Office - Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point)
  • ERP & CRM Software and
    industry simulation software (CTES) preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively
    with clients and personnel to provide information and technical support.
  • Strong planning, organizational,
    analytical and communication skills.
  • Bid package preparation in
    response to tenders
  • Travel up to 50% required.
