On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.

The Dallas Chemical Center Operations Team is responsible for comprehensive supply chain management for our semiconductor manufacturing customers. This service requires relationships with hundreds of high purity chemical and gas suppliers and the management of those chemicals for the duration of their supply chain journey, from manufacturing to installation.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Professional Driver II demonstrates advanced proficiency in Oracle and LIMS. Responsibilities include precise order processing, training new drivers, and participation in key programs. A detail-oriented team player committed to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport chemicals and gas to designated customer locations, adhering to all relevant transportation regulations and safety protocols.

  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to meet customer requirements

  • Verify and maintain accurate labeling of chemical and gas containers, complying with regulatory standards and company policies to guarantee safe handling.

  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) equipment skillfully and safely to facilitate the loading and unloading of chemical and gas shipments

  • Possess knowledge of spill response procedures and emergency protocols, ensuring prompt and effective actions in case of accidents or unforeseen incidents.

  • Establish and maintain positive interactions with customers, providing excellent service, and representing the company in a professional manner.

  • Contribute to waste management initiatives

  • Be available to provide backup support for other routes within the designated geographic area, ensuring continuity of service during peak times or unforeseen circumstances

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in delivery operations, making suggestions to enhance overall effectiveness.

  • Execute dip tube exchange, as needed.

  • Participate in the DCC 5s program

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards and are in proper working condition. Report any issues promptly.

  • Demonstrate leadership skills by training and mentoring new Professional Driver I team members, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols, operational procedures, and customer service standards.

  • Possess a foundational understanding of Oracle systems by utilizing basic functionalities for tasks.

  • Utilize basic LIMS functions for labeling practices.

  • Ensure accurate and timely order processing to meet customer expectations for dewar deliveries.

  • Display leadership qualities by taking on collateral responsibilities (5s leader, Site Safety Champion, Site Waste Coordinator, etc.)

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or 5+ years of experience

  • CDL A with hazmat endorsement

  • Drivers License with clean driving record

  • 4+ year experience of chemical and gas knowledge

  • Tanker endorsement is a plus

  • Warehousing experience is a plus

  • Self-motivated to learn

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, be organized and multitasking

  • Dedicated to quality and accuracy

  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze processes and find new approaches to existing processes.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Dedicated to quality and accuracy

  • Proficient computer skills including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets...)

  • Ability to utilize system reports to manage inventory

  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

The hourly rate range for this position in Texas is $23.00 to $28.00
