Description Sohum Systems presents an incredible opportunity for GIS Developers to contribute to a transformative federal initiative under the USDA's CIO-SP3 SB contract. You'll be working on modernizing mission-critical geospatial applications that directly impact farm program systems across the country. This work will also play a key role in developing a new pay system portal for farmers-leveraging GIS to improve accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility for agricultural stakeholders nationwide. The role leverages ESRI technologies like ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, and WebApp Builder, alongside tools like Python, and Angular-giving you a dynamic mix of front-end and geospatial backend work. As part of a CMMI Level 3 delivery team, you'll operate in a mature Agile environment with structured collaboration and modern DevSecOps practices. For a GIS professional seeking meaningful, mission-driven work with cutting-edge tech, this is the place to be. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. * Familiarity with version control systems such as SourceTree, Bitbucket for code collaboration and management. * Experience in following ESRI GIS best practices and building GIS applications and API's. * Utilize technologies including ESRI ArcGIS Online, WebApp Builder for ArcGIS, ArcGIS API for JavaScript v4.x, WebApi2, Java ,Angular * Build the presentation layer using the front-end technologies - HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and NodeJS. * Work with GIS Web Developers to maintain or create application code using JavaScript and ArcGIS Services with technologies like CSS, AJAX, Dojo, ArcGIS JavaScript API, python and Angular * Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks, build unit test cases for code coverage. * Experience in Migrating ArcGIS Desktop application (ArcObjects SDK) from 10.6.1 to 10.8.2 /ArcGIS Pro Skills Arcgis, angular, java, gis, geographic information system, css3, html5, Python, web app builder, gis analysis, esri Top Skills Details Arcgis,angular,java,gis,geographic information system Additional Skills & Qualifications -Will need to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance -Can be an H1 candidate with proof of 3+ years of residency in the United States or a valid Green Card holder. -Must be able to hit the ground running on day 1. -Must be personable due to having Government meetings. -Must be comfortable working on their own equipment until Public Trust is obtained. Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
