Maintains procedures and techniques for quality control standards at a single plant level to ensure quality levels are maintained for a complete brand or segment.

AMST is currently seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in production and assembly environments to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a pivotal role in ensuring our product meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Ultimately, we are looking for someone assertive, passionate and diplomatic, with the ability to achieve high quality results in an efficient and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management, including process audits and customer interactions.
  • Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchase parts
  • Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures
  • Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle
  • Inspect products at various stages of the production process
  • Write reports documenting production issues
  • Examine the quality of incoming material that is used in production
  • Monitor and evaluate internal production processes
  • Track products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process meets standards
  • Research and eliminate or replace products that are not up to standards; noting the issues the product has
  • Identify non-conforming work and develop corrective action plans

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering or a Related field (Required)
  • ISO certifications and experience (Required)
  • QA/QC certification, inspection certifications and/or related certifications are (Preferred)
  • Must be comfortable with being physically present on the production floor.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information.A person must have
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service oriented to include following up.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Anticipated Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000

Pay Range:

80,000.00 - 120,000.00
