The Opportunity:

Commvault is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Sr. Director, Global Strategic Partnerships to lead, manage, and evolve our revenue-generating relationships with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and Technology Alliances. This senior sales leadership role reports directly to the SVP of Global Partners and Channel, and is responsible for developing high-impact global partnerships that drive revenue across both Commvault's SaaS and software portfolios.

The ideal candidate has deep experience building global relationships with top-tier GSIs and technology alliance partners, a strong understanding of software ecosystem dynamics, and a proven ability to translate partnership strategy into field-level execution. This leader will work cross-functionally to align product integration, GTM strategy, and global sales execution, while orchestrating tri-party offerings that include hyperscalers and complementary solution providers.

What you'll do...



  • Lead and evolve the global GSI and Technology Alliance partner strategy, including partner identification, recruitment, and long-term relationship development.
  • Own and manage global executive relationships with strategic GSIs and technology alliance partners.
  • Develop global business plans and partner monetization models aligned to both software and SaaS offerings.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the partner ecosystem landscape and how technical and go-to-market alignment creates leverage for Commvault.
    Collaborate closely with regional partner sales teams to drive execution of global partner programs, sales plays, and field enablement initiatives.
  • Partner with Commvault's product, engineering, and marketing teams to align partner strategies with technical integration and product roadmap.
    Orchestrate tri-party offerings with key route-to-market stakeholders including hyperscalers, cybersecurity solution providers, and managed service providers to expand reach and differentiation.
  • Drive partner readiness and field activation through enablement programs, sales incentives, and joint marketing efforts.
  • Build and manage metrics and reporting frameworks to track performance and impact across partnerships globally.
  • Ensure clear roles, accountability, and communication across partner, field, and internal stakeholder teams.



Who you are...



  • 10+ years of experience in partner sales, alliances, or business development leadership within the enterprise software or SaaS sector.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling global partnerships with GSIs and technology alliance partners.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to translate ecosystem strategy into measurable results.
  • Travel 25 - 30% (1 week per month)
  • Familiarity with working alongside hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and other ecosystem partners to deliver integrated offerings.
  • Excellent executive communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Comfortable operating in a highly matrixed, cross-functional global environment.
