Make an Impact

A fantastic opportunity for a Merchandising Coordinator to join our growing Fossil leathers business. This merchant will have the opportunity to work within a fast paced environment and partner with many teams through the business with Design, Product Development, Packaging, Visual Merchandising, Planning, Sales, and more. This Coordinator will have the following core responsibilities:

  • Supporting the business strategies and initiatives of the Fossil Leathers business
  • Attend product meetings, assist with line plans, work closely with the Design and Product Development teams to deliver seasonal needs
  • Partner and communicate with the regional teams and cross functional teams
  • Research & present current and future fashion trends to the Fossil Leathers teams
  • Identify white space opportunities through understanding of fashion competitors
  • Analyze business trends and identify opportunities and actions
  • Own leathers sample maintenance / organization
  • Responsible for line maintenance tools: assortment grids, assortment change communication, go to market tools
  • Communicate new assortments with sales teams, create sell in tools, and coordinate showroom setup ahead of seasonal market weeks
  • Support new product launches for Fossil
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising team on seasonal in store direction

Your Skills


  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in retail industry: buying, merchandising, or brand management preferred
  • Passion for the fashion retail industry and accessories
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and financial skills
  • Self-starter and takes initiative
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Collaborative and flexible work style
  • Detail oriented
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite
