The Strategic Portfolio Director will work in close partnership with the Division Executives and the related leadership councils. The Portfolio Director participates in a wide variety of strategic and financial planning and reporting functions, that may have an impact on the total regional portfolio of projects, in the areas of budget, customer value metrics, benchmarking, and capital project review. The position facilitates the review and direction-setting of program/project discovery, capital project planning, annual plans and analysis, preparation of feasibility studies, organizational and resource capacity planning, and due diligence. The Director also conducts benchmark analysis, periodic reporting, customer satisfaction and other surveys, and also leads specific large-scale regional initiatives.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. and
  • Master's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
  • 8 years work experience in health care, preferably in an integrated health system, or a comparable background in significant project leadership experience.
  • 5 years proven experience in the development of sound, intelligent strategies for strategic implementations, integration methods, business process improvement, change management, product integration, and risk management.
  • 7 years Progressive leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Upon hire: PMP certificate
  • Upon hire: Certification and formal process improvement methodologies including Six Sigma, CAP, and/or Lean
