Document Control Coordinator

Location:
Theodore, AL

Position Type: 10 months contract (could go longer)

Pay: $20-$24/HR



The Document Control Coordinator will support the EHS Security and Quality department and be involved in assisting in reviewing and updating procedures/manuals to keep current with site requirements.

Role Summary:

Support document control by maintaining and updating files, procedures, and records to meet site requirements.

Requirements:




  • High school diploma required.



  • At least 2 years of office experience; manufacturing environment experience preferred.



  • Strong organizational skills and professional communication.



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and other software like Teams, SharePoint, Open Text, Ariba, and SAP.



  • Typing speed of 40+ WPM.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage and organize all physical and electronic files using a single system.



  • Update procedures and documents through the Open Text system.



  • Serve as the main contact for team communications via platforms like Teams and OneNote.



  • Schedule and record meeting minutes and follow up on action items for various departmental meetings.



  • Handle purchase orders, vendor agreements, and track related expenditures.



  • Monitor third-party work and spending with monthly reporting.
