A Day in the Life

The MuleSoft Architect at Eide Bailly designs and implements integration solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating, and coordinating the independently designed applications within and across the enterprise. Duties will include helping to define and guide the DevOps process for integration, mentoring junior developers, collaborating with an off-shore team, performing peer code review, creating new integrations, performing integration maintenance, writing integration technical documentation, validating/updating process documentation, and resolving integration related issues.:

  • Designs and implements code using standard development best practices.
  • Designs and implements Integration with MuleSoft and other industry leading enterprise platforms (Workato, Microsoft Power Platform, Boomi)
  • Works with project team to review requirements and identify system functionality and project feasibility.
  • Interprets conceptual ideas from project sponsors to derive technical requirements and produce integration solutions.
  • Diagnoses and resolves system problems.
  • Performs system maintenance on integration-based process applications and related databases.
  • Assists with development capacity planning and quality assurance testing before solutions are released.
  • Creates & maintains standards documentation related to integration technology.
  • Creates & maintains documentation related to the integration CICD & DevOps processes.
  • Mentors team members on awareness of and adherence to established standards and best practices around integration technology.
  • Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
  • Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ Years of professional Integration and/or Development experience.
  • Experience working in MuleSoft and other Integration platforms (Workato, Azure Data Factory, Boomi, etc.) required.
  • Extensive experience in on-premise, AWS, and Azure environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Integration development and design.

  • Ability and passion to learn new technology.

  • Well-rounded knowledge of product and service development concepts and methodologies, including a practical understanding of Integration principles such as mapping, awareness, assessment, design, testing and implementation.

  • Willingness to learn from the team around you to continue to develop your skill-set as a developer.

  • Self-motivated and interested in working on real projects and implementations, with real results and responsibilities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Benefits and Compensation

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.

Salary: $135,000 - $150,000, depending on experience/location/level.
