Job Description and Position Requirements: The Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture Digital Fabrication Lab seeks to hire numerous federal work-study students. These positions will assist lab users and monitor the lab. No digital fabrication experience is necessary, but we desire applicants who are interested in learning about digital fabrication tools and methods. The lab would like to establish reliable lab hours of operation. Primary Duties Include: *Monitor the lab during open hours *Assist students with fabrication material purchases *Maintain material inventory and schedule student equipment usage Secondary Duties would Include: *Assistance with software such as Rhino, RhinoCam, Illustrator and laser cutting *Performing laser cutter maintenance and participation in fabrication projects The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00. Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a joband perform related duties eitheron campus, orremotely, if possibleand at the discretion of the employer.
