Job Title: Systems Integration Engineer Location: Hybrid - Plano, TX (2 days/week in office) Overview: The Systems Integration Engineer will focus on introducing applications, configurations, and functionality to Ribbon Federal customers in a logical, efficient, and effective manner. We're looking for a self-motivated, quick learner with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is results-driven, adaptable, and able to manage multiple customer projects in a single day. You should be comfortable working independently or collaboratively to solve problems and enhance the customer experience.
Note:Due to the nature of this role supporting Federal contracts,U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and test Ribbon products in both Ribbon and customer environments, using a mix of Ribbon and non-Ribbon components for validation, provisioning, and test automation.
- Develop highly repeatable processes with a mindset to automate everything-from software deployment to system failure mitigation.
- Collaborate with key Federal customers and internal teams to solve complex problems using the latest technologies and ensure successful product integration.
- Rapidly acquire and apply new skills to address customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, RHV, KVM, and VMWare.
- Understanding of IP network architecture and concepts.
- Knowledge of SIP protocols and concepts.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Ansible or Python.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to interface effectively with customers and partners.
