Bay Advanced Technologies (BayAT), an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, is an automation products distributor and contract manufacturer headquartered in Newark, CA. We are a sales-driven organization, and our customers are looking to automate more and more of their processes to keep pace with their competitors in the life science, biotech, semiconductor, and general automation space. BayAT has a wide array of capabilities, including specification, co-engineering, and custom design for our automation customers, and are looking to expand our sales reach in the San Diego Area - we currently have a requirement for an Automation Account Manager. The Automation Account Manager is an energetic, motivated individual to spearhead our sales efforts by helping existing and new customers select and deploy various pneumatic, fluidic, sensing, control, and motion solutions, at both the component and the system level. We'll look to this individual to build relationships with customers throughout a geographical sales territory while helping them select products and turn-key solutions. This position is full-time and reports directly to the Southern California Automation Technology Group Sales Manager. It is an individual contributor (IC) position, operating primarily in the field (customer-facing) and will require local travel - to customer sites, trade shows, and technical training events. In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $100,000 - $170,000 per year depending on experience. This includes salary and monthly commission after coming off a guarantee.
