Department Summary The Center for Experiential Learning & Career Success (CELCS) is being newly launched as an organizational unit that not only combines existing campus functions related to experiential learning and career services but serves to expand capabilities to ensure the success of every UNT Dallas student. A significant investment is being made to more than double the existing number of five full-time staff members that will be newly assigned to the Center along with an expanded operating budget. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Innovation. Position Overview The University of North Texas at Dallas seeks an innovative, student-centered, and strategic leader to serve as the Executive Director of the new Center for Experiential Learning and Career Success (CELCS). This leadership position will be responsible for the development and execution of a unified, institution-wide vision for experiential education that prepares students for academic, career, and life success. The Executive Director will build and lead a comprehensive center that promotes and integrates internships, practicums, service learning, undergraduate research, study abroad, and other high-impact practices that enhance students' real-world readiness. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Higher Education, Business Administration, Student Affairs or related field; 7 years in years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, with a focus on experiential learning, student success, career services, or a related area.
